Hello there, I'm lack_of_skill 👋

Photography wasn’t always something I took seriously. In fact, when I first picked up an old Nikon point-and-shoot—one I had carefully saved up for—I treated it as little more than a toy. I snapped random shots without much thought, convinced that photography paled in comparison to other art forms like painting or drawing.

That perspective completely shifted many years later, in mid-2019, when I got my hands on a Canon 250D. Something clicked (pun intended), and I began to see photography in an entirely new light (pun also intended). It wasn’t just about documenting what was in front of the lens—it was about storytelling, emotion, and perspective. I realized that a single image could capture what words sometimes fail to express. Especially my words.

Since then, photography has become my way of slowing down and appreciating the often-overlooked details of the world. It’s about chasing the perfect light, preserving fleeting moments, and finding beauty in the unexpected. I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still falling in love with this craft every day—even if life sometimes demands that I put the camera down for a bit.
